Grandparents leave us for warmer weather

Grabbing a bite to eat before Grandma and Grandpa Greeley leave us for a week for warmer weather.  Real nice and they say they love us.... Really??? I think if this is true they would take us with!  Just kidding :)

 Well we were at lunch we ran into some friends.

They have a little guy the same age as Allie. 

We were excited to hear the big news that Christopher is going to be a big brother.

The day of the snow fort

Well today was one of those days that it warmed up enough to actually make something fun in the snow.

So well Allie was taking her nap I busted out a snow fort for her.

She LOVED it!

Nothing can come between these two when it comes to playing. Not even a glass door.

Later that day Dad got home from his pool tournament in time to have supper with us and be able to say good night to Allie.

I took this next picture and it made me think of the one I took awhile back.

I feel like a broken record, but WOW how time fly's by.

I am always looking for new ways to keep the hair out of Allie's eyes and this week we ran across these head bands and they seem to work great. We like to tell her it shows everyone that she goes potty in the potty. :)  Mike and I like to use any new thing to our advantage.

Then it was time with Thomas.  Thomas is a toy Allie got back when she started going potty on a regular bases.  It was on top of the fridge to only to look at or better known as fridge jail.

Gardening indoors

If we can't have the garden outside right now we will bring it indoors.  Allie and I ran across this new addition to our plant collection today.  Its called a minimato its a special tomato plant for indoors. So far it is helping my craving for it to be garden season.

 Before we found our new plant we stopped off and did a little shopping and got such great deals that I have to share my sales slip with you.  Not cause I am bragging just cause I thought it was funny and super cool. If you don't get it I spent 22.31 and my savings was 452.92.  Anyone that knows me knows this is like winning the jackpot. :)  I love saving money!!!  Mike likes it too.  Allie could careless.

Simply love

Today was one of those days I couldn't help, but think about what kind of things will Allie enjoy in a few years. I look into her eyes and wonder what the future has for her. I am sure this is something all parents think about. Just seemed to really make me wonder today. My prayer is that she loves with all she does.

We all have those days

Today was one of those days that I didn't get a single picture taken. Not that I didn't have the camera with, just didn't get it done. After thinking about what I was going to do it made me think of what has been coming out of this munchkins mouth these days and the things she says. For example anytime Allie feels like she is getting in trouble she busts into song like Jesus loves me or I love you U love me. I try to tell her yes Allie Jesus does love you and I do too, but you know your not suppose to do that. My favorite lately has got to be hearing a two year old say OH MY GOODNESS with such emphasis. We also hear a lot of "Whats that?" or "I don't like it" before she even try's it. The past few weeks has kinda felt like everything we have taught her she has forgotten or better said as testing my patients. I know it is just a phase, but this mama can't wait for this phase to be over. :)

So the one thing we all look forward doing on the weekends is simply hanging around and getting a chance to spend time together.  Allie has taken it to a whole other level.

Today was one of those uneventful days around here. We spent most of the day cleaning house. I keep asking myself if all the dirt is covered with 5 feet of snow. How does it find its way into our house? Any extra time I had was spent cleaning out little girl underpants. This task of potty training is getting the best of me. Can't wait for that day it all just clicks.
