The new game.

Well we have hit the faze of recognizing words that sound the same.
So our new game here sounds a little something like this.
"Hey! Did you know that cat and hat sound the same?"
"son and done"
"dog and log"
and on and on all day long.
The one down fall about this game is we can't seem to ever put it away
it seems to be played everywhere we go.
Not a big fan of winter,
but we try to make our activities as fun as they can be well being stuck indoors.
Also a new hidden talent that has appeared is the tongue roll.
Pretty sure I never knew playing with play dough could be such a serious task.
Check out that concentration!
Look quick cause it won't last long.
Feeding time for one of the million babies we seem to have around here.
Busy giving rides to all that want one.
Pink care bear was one of the first to get a ride
cause she didn't cry she said.
Just so all knows Allie now reminds me to take a picture.
Mom and Dad came over for lunch and before they left Allie sits between them and say's
"mom take a picture of us"
I was afraid I over did it with the pictures, but turns out she is the best reminder to keep clicking away.

Reunited and it feels so good

This would be Valentines Day morning.
Anyone that has spent anytime with us knows were not big candy givers when it comes to the holiday's.
These princess dolls are what Allie got from Mom and Dad for valentines day.
First thing Allie say's is
"mom where are their boyfriends?"
This week we made sure to have a game picked out by the time dad got home from work.
Pretty sure Allie won every night except the night we played memory.
I was the winner winner chicken dinner that night.
This past week Mike had one of his delivery guys make a special trip out to give him these for us.
I thought it was so thoughtful and kind I had to share.
I am once again reminded of the small things in life that truly matter.
I continue to be amazed at the impact someone can make simply by their actions.
This week I ran across a verse that was worded in a way I hadn't read it before.
"I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see."
John 9:39
So I'm one of those people that can't stand to loose things.
But I also am that person that feels like they won a million bucks when I find something I lost.
With that said about 110 days ago I blogged about loosing an ear ring and I'm proud to say I have found that missing earring and we are once again reunited and it feels so good.

How a 3 yr old explains the in's and out's

It seems as if these legs dangle a little farther over the edge everyday.
This week Allie had been going poop. When I went in to clean her up I noticed she had little poops.
Just out of conversation I said to Allie I wonder why it's like that?
Her response was
"Well mom I ate kix that's why I have little poops."
She said it as if I should have already known that.
I love how simple three year old's think sometimes.
This is what it looks like from the other angle.
Allie is busy watching one of her favorite shows
"Tom and Jerry"
It was one of her dad's favorites growing up as well.
This week I discovered we have an Aloe plant going to seed.
This is my your never too old to learn something new moment.
Anyone need any?
Allie came home from school with this for us.
Our Valentine!
Swimming lesson day!
Allie's friend Casey smiling nice for me.
She seems to be enjoying the time in the water.
Were still working on being okay with getting our face wet.
After the lesson we headed over to visit our Grandma Greeley who is healing up after having surgery the previous week.
Allie scored Valentine gifts from the family well we were there.
Gotta love the hearts!
One of the gifts in the bag of goodies was a hot chocolate mix that was pink.
So after taking a good nap Allie got rewarded with her
pink hot chocolate.
This one's for you mom, so you know what pink hot chocolate looks like.
Allie sporting her new outfit.
She thought she could fill dad's shoes.
Not just anyone can fill those.
We can't express enough how much we appreciate our dad.
We love you Daddo!

Punxsutawney Phil predicts an early spring!

Lots and lots of indoor play was what got accomplished this week.
And no Allie hasn't taken up smoking it's a sucker in her mouth.
A three year old can't put valentines together without sampling the candy you know.
Even Ike gets into our playtime.
If you can't tell she's busy babysitting.
So once it FINALLY warmed up we just had to go play outside.
It was even warm enough to put together another fort.
She had a good time helping with this one.
Back @ swimming lessons for the week.
Each week she's able to swim on her own a little more.
Listening to the teacher.
She's trying to convince the kids to put their faces in the water.
Allie's biggest struggle getting her face wet.
Always making sure mom and dad are watching.
Allie and Dad @ the bee's.
Thanks to our aunt and uncle for treating us with a gift card.
