I spy bugs!

For months and months I have been telling Allie that when the bugs come back we can play outside again.
Today was that day!
After we got over our excitement of seeing our first bug.
We then made our way around the house picking up all the cornstalks that blew in yard over the winter.
I figured she needed practice for Easter egg hunting coming up. She thought it was great and we turned it into a game of course she won!
Allie spotted her slide and had to test it out as well.
Please take note of the new fashion statement we are sending and that is orange goes with pink.
Nice boots Allie :)
We LOVE the outdoors!

That's my girl :)

Now this is a girl who knows how to work a hammer.
U go girl!
Please take notice to the supervisor in the background sitting on the chair.
After supper Allie was showing us her skills on her "skating board" as she likes to call it.

Can't keep this girl down

Busy climbing on anything and everything.
Oh I guess she just wanted to be a little closer to Dad.
Or simply dreaming of warmer weather.
The beach days are getting closer!
Today Allie was sporting one of her new t-shirts from Grandma and Grandpa when they went down south. She was quick to tell you where it was from and who gave it to her.

Me and Allie before bedtime.
She knows I am a sucker for
"one more picture mom".
Allie stalling out again...
Hoping we don't notice she isn't in her bed yet.

If your happy and you know it honk your horn.

This is Allie's new way of singing the song "happy and you know it".  Sorry ahead of time for my crap singing. If Allie wasn't so cute doing it I would so not post this.

Oh.... Allie girl!
Afternoon play.
Allie even got Dad to bust out a tune.
Good job Dad!
Lately we have been saying lots of good jobs to Allie, so in return we get to hear lots of good jobs back. She will say it for the littlest things kinda funny.

It's an art

Oh the art of being a kid!  Allie has it down.
Is Ike okay?
Yep!
Just making sure. :)
If anyone is looking for a good read.
 Just finished this one.

A day of games and chocolate

The day started off with a game of chutes and ladders that seemed to never end.
Allie had to check the directions to make sure I was right on how to play.
Something you don't think of when you don't play games with two year old's
Booger breaks!
No matter how many times you tell her to get a kleenex she will still use her finger. Pretty sure she isn't the only one. :)
After beating me in the game and washing Allie's hands it was time to do something different.
A kids favorite part of cooking! Licking the spoon....
We all scream for CHOCOLATE!!!

On the move again.

Those teeth are busy moving again.
Can you tell?
We found something to do keep her mind off her mouth.
Clean!! She kept asking me if it was her turn yet to push the vacuum. I am so holding on to that for future reference.
I have a feeling this will be a very common look from Allie.
It cracks me up! Its as if she is saying "I'm only two and I gotta work?" Haha!

Peekaboooo

I had to bust in and quick take a picture before the day was over.  I didn't do very good job of clicking today.
Some days are better then others when it comes to that.
I find myself saying this a lot, but REALLY can I ever seem to take a picture without that cat in it?  Well at least you can see how much these two are together.  Crazy kid and cat.
Highlights of the day we found plastic pants for Allie that is. And I got my hair cut! Whooo Hooo

Soggy beginnings

The day started off a little on the soggy side.  The night before Allie insisted that she have big girl pants on when going to bed, so we gave it a shot.  I wasn't too shocked when I discovered a wet bed in the morning, but we all have to start somewhere.  Next time we go out I am looking for some of those liners that people use with cloth diapers to avoid all the extra laundry I'm having to do.
Morning play
Please note the no pants is cause of the soggy start to the day.
One of our many picnics of the day.
Then it was time for a choo choo ride.
Pretty sure we are in the process of getting dressed. Might help explain the no clothes situation.
Not only is Mike enjoying the sports illustrated.
