The weekend of the exchange

This weekend we had an oppertunity to go to a Vikings game.

The deal is we have to exchange the kid for the tickets.

She did pretty good I thought.

Someone was a little under the weather for a couple days.

A gentleman from my childhood passed away this past week and everytime I see this gum I think of him cause there wouldn't be a time you saw him he didn't have a piece of this gum with him to give you.

Mom and Dad went to the funeral and they had mentioned he bought 25 lb bags of this gum at a time.

I know he's smiling down and in good hands. 

Latest and Greatest

Big discovery happened at the Cook household this week.

The butterfly came out of it's cacoon.

 We even got to share our excitement with Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Jim.

 Time to release our new friend into the garden.

Even if the face doesn't look excited she got a pretty big kick out of this.

 Beings I buy halloween costumes when the stores clearance them out at the end of the season were always hoping they fit for the next year.

Super Girl fits great! 

Just had to try it on to make sure.

I'm still trying to figure out why we put up this great swingset for her cause she would prefer to simply play in the dirt in the garden.

 That's my girl!

Not so exciting discoveries

Just when I thought I had this canning thing down.

This was my speghetti sauce that went down the drain.

Yes. 

I did feel like crying when this was found.

But I had to figure out what went wrong and move forward.

I'm happy to report with my mom's help I was able to replenish what I lost.

Not sure what this is about, just thought it was funny.

Going down fast.

You never know what that little mind of hers is thinking.

Mike keeps saying NO gymnastics, but this shows otherwise.

The "BIG" Day! Off to school she goes

 Well today is the day we send her off to school.

Three day's a week this year.

Pretty sure I will be saying it every year

" I can't believe were here already"

 Mom busy clicking away before I have to let her go.

Get those teeth clean before we head out the door.

 Bag in locker and checked in by the door.

One last shot before she tells me again

"It's time for you to go mom"

 Not only was it a big week cause Allie started school, but we had visitors

come thru town.

Mike's cousin Charity and her inlaws were in the area.

So we went and showed them one of the main attractions in the area.

 Me and Allie met some friends out at a Christian music event called lifelight.

Crazy amount of people at this thing.

After we get past the waiting in line for a lifetime.
