Looks like someones mom liked stripes this week.

So "U" ever heard the saying
"if your not learning your dying"
Well I learned to believe about 10% of what comes out of the mouth of a three year old.
Enough said.
I can't get over how bored Allie looks these day's.
She misses being outside just as much as I do.
Beginning of the week we had an opportunity to go spend some time at Allie's school.
She was so embarrassed of me clicking away.
I can't believe I'm already seeing this.
Eye roll + Not making eye contact = Good times for all.
Allie and her first teacher Miss Sheri.
Allie really likes her
(if you couldn't tell).
Mid week we hit up story time at the library.
Allie's getting good at recognizing her name cause she can pick out her name tag with know problem.
Sick day. :(
Happy to report after it's said and done she popped out of this nice and quick.
I'm pretty sure a mom will go to any extent to make their kid feel better.
This was my way of trying.
So the next day after getting all the sickness done we went out to play.
She had a blast.
Well worth giving up my shower the day before.
It's Saturday...
So u know what were doing.
Swimming!!
Getting checked in and finding out this poor teacher will have to teach two class cause the other instructor didn't show up.
And that's all I was able capture at swimming lessons cause the battery failed me.
After swimming we went to go celebrate the
Great Grandparents birthday's.
I don't know too many couples that have birthday's back to back.
Feb 1 is Grandma's and Feb 2 is Grandpa's.
Guess who couldn't keep her little hands off the baby?
Of course grandma, but what I was getting at is baby magnet Allie.
A whole group of
"greats"
Kids + Grands = "Greats"
I was never good at math, but I kinda like my new math.
Allie seems to have the crazy face going on this day.
Grandma and Grandpa with their kids.
And of course the "big kids" playing games.

A week of working at staying warm

Hard to believe she's watching something she like's.
This week has consisted of lots of play indoors beings we have had temps well below zero for the entire week.
Pretty sure we will never have enough puzzles in the house for this kid.
Something that seems to come pretty natural to her.
Say's she wants help, but it appear she's got it
under control.
After supper dad was teaching Allie how to stand and hold a bat.
He used flash cards to where her feet needed to be placed.
Now every time she shows me what she can do with the bat.
She has to bust out the flash cards to stand on, just like dad showed her.
Midweek we had some friends over for some playtime.
Of course Allie insists on holding the baby.
That same day we had family out for supper.
Allie found the perfect person give her a manicure.
Thanks for coming out Josh and Hannah.
Why mess free markers are the desired markers here.
 Note to self.
Do not leave marker on face longer then a few hours cause it may result in not wanting to come off the skin.
It eventually wore off what wouldn't wash off.

Snow... Snow.... and more snow. Gotta love January!

The new full time job this week has been moving all this white stuff that continues to fall.
I'm not sure on any totals, but simply know its a lot.
So why not make the best of it and go play in it.
Getting geared up to tackle the elements.
She's ready to go!
This year she can finally manage to get around pretty good without getting stuck in the snow drifts.
She held her own and the tree.
This is a common past time.
Were busy learning letters, so is Ike.
Watching some T.V. with dad.
Saying goodnight and then Allie telling us why she should stay up 5 more minutes.
This is just one of many things she tries to push the limits on.
Mid week I noticed Allie playing with some of her favorite books by the window ledge.  When I walked over and looked a little closer I noticed all the books were opened to the same theme.  So I asked Allie to explain to me why they were all like that and she said
"cause then I can see all them loving everyone."
One of those things I hope to never forget.
Saturday mornings @ the YWCA is where you will find the Cook family.
Today Allie started her new swimming class without mom.
I'm not sure who was happier me or her.
Don't let the picture fool you she had a blast.
This is Allie "focusing"  so we like to call it.

Okay kids!
Leg Kicks
Allie is on the far right.
Doing the back float.
 Little noodle action.
 Cheering other class members on.
And look Allie got her face wet.
Big deal for her.
Allie had a little spill at Sunday school last week and the battle mark has stuck with us all week.
Buddies!
