Snow Play

I'm glad someone like's the snow at this house.
I think I did too much snow removal to like it anymore.
She couldn't get enough of it.
My little snow angel.

Just believe!

 Hoping for a better tomorrow.

Wish I could see the whole picture, but am hanging on to the promise that God will provide.
 He always does.

I just wish my human nature would stop over powering my will to want to do it myself.

Things on the mind

As I look back on these pictures from a few day's ago it make me understand how much your kiddo's absorb how your feeling.
I see in these pictures things that were on my mind when I look at her face.
We think they're too little to understand, but they're never to little to feel something is wrong.
Now there's that smile.
In Allie's words
"mom I can't look now I'm working"
I must have thru out a bribe cause I did get her to looking up.

A day to unwind

Today we were enjoying to be home.
Something about traveling love to go, but always seem to enjoy coming home the most.
So most of the day consisted of vegging out and unpacking.
 Allie being Allie.
 Trying out some tricks.
Not sure what the trick really is suppose to be, but at this age know one really asks.
I'm talking about Mike's age.  :)

Back home after the holiday

Well today we pack up the car and head back home.
Good bye Twin Cities!
Allie and Grandpa getting in some more playing around in.
The trip just wouldn't be complete without at least one hold up picture.
Well Mike and Dad were out getting the car all ready to go the rest of us were hanging out in the room saying our good bye's.
For some reason everyone was emptying their pockets and giving money to Allie.
As her parent I didn't decline, but Allie wouldn't except it and said it was "dirty".
I wonder how long we can keep her thinking this way?
Auntie Erin is always good for a good tickle treatment.
We travel in the car for about 5 hours and this is what happens about 15 min from home.
Gotta love it!!!

Thanksgiving 2010

Allie went right to work on testing all food insight.
Mom and Daughter hard at work.
This clock and chair use to be at my grandma's house.
I love going and seeing things that remind me of her.
She would have been happy to see the clock running.
That clock always seemed to stop every time we would visit, so it got to be a joke.
It ran the whole time this time.
Rick taking care of the turkey work.
The table is set and ready.
We all gather together to enjoy a great meal.
The Lueck and Greeley clan all together for Thanksgiving 2010.
We were missing Jordan and Travis, but hope they can make the next one.

We made it!

We made it to the Cities Dad was phoning back home to let others know we made it.
Slower then normal, but we made it in one piece thanks to Mikes superb driving skills.
One happy little girl to be out of the car and getting something to eat.
Most of the excitement truly comes from being around grandma and grandpa.
Silly kid!
She is buttering him up to take her swimming later.

Cookies 4 the trip

Today Allie and I whipped up a batch of cookies for our trip.
Were heading to the Cities for Thanksgiving.
Look at this concentration she has here.
Still one of Allie's favorite spots to be is up at the counter helping.
My favorite little baker.

Real deal markers

Today I made the mistake of thinking these were the mess free markers.
U try to explain to a three year old little girl who has been dying to play with it Mom made a mistake, you can't play with it.
I didn't have the heart to say that so told her it was a table project and let her have fun with them and I cleaned up behind her.
She did way better then I thought she would do with the real deal markers.
I even enjoyed coloring a few pictures myself with her.
She kept reminding me to stay in the lines.
Note that the marker lid's are on those markers.
 Busy being 3!
