"I got this"

 Play... Play... Play!

This girl never gets sick of playing doll house.

 Seems like anything she can move around and add stories to is a fan favorite these days.

An Allie quote I hear quite often these day's is 

"I got this"

Which means she doesn't want my help.

I told Allie how old her dad was going to be in June.

 Garden is coming along nicely.

If you look close at the picture of the bean you can still see the seed shell attached to the plant.

I'm a freak and think that is pretty cool.

 Everyone takes part in taking care of our garden.

Spring has Sprung

Beginning of this week Allie and I had a craving for something chocolate, so we came to an agreement on rice crispy bars.

Of course only if she got to lick the spoon.

She got her way ~ this time.

This year we decided to ditch the flowers in the planters and go with stuff we could eat.

Strawberries, lettuce, herbs and spinach.

We will see how it goes.

 Look good now, but time will tell the true story.

Haircut this week!

Well over due.  

What better way to show it off then with a hat on.

 

Gotta love that it's baseball season again!

Sad day this week for baseball fans the legend Harmon Killebrew passed away. 

From start to finish

 Allie picked this flower out for my mom's day gift.

That day was so much fun cause I was able to share it with family.

 A quick shot before we head out the door to Allie's last day of school for the year.

 I figured we take pictures of the first day of school it only seemed fitting to do the same on the last day too.

All the stickers were the reward for remembering the folder every week.

Yes we did have one morning we got all the way to school without it, so we ran home and got it just so we could get that stinkin sticker.

 The tomatoes are coming along it had been awhile since I showed the progress.

And yes I'm aware you can buy them in the store.

I find great reward in starting them from seed and see what can happen from start to finish.

Garage Sale Prep

So I'm back trying to catch up from three weeks missed here.

I thought I would post a picture of what has been pulling me away from getting this done.

We are getting ready for a garage sale here and let me tell you I have a new perspective for when people say they do these things.

As you can see we are in need to get rid of LOTS of stuff.

 I know it doesn't make much since beings I'm having a garage to go to garage sales, but it is an annual thing we do with our friend Jean.

So Allie, Jean and I had a girls day out.
