All things must come to an end to make room for new

Well it's that time to unload the pool for the season.
And yes it did seem as if we were flooding the neighborhood.
We started it well Allie was napping so she was alittle shocked when she discovered what was going on.
Really!?
The part I'm not too impressed with.
Our poor grass!
Look what floated over the house the other night!
I love these thing.
The school supplies are all bought now for the haircut before school starts next week.
Finished product after haircuts.
We had a chance to go to Allie's school to meet the teachers before the first day.
Of course the pull was to the inflatables they had on the front lawn.
As you can see Mike never goes too far from his little girl.
Weeeeee!
She had a great time, but like any parent knows when they have this much fun it is never an easy task to leave.
You can imagine what Allie looked like when it was time to go.

Enjoying time with family

My Grandma's side of the family had a family reunion this past weekend.
Pictured above are the siblings out of thirteen.
And these are their children that were able to make it to the get together.
Allie and her favorite Auntie Erin.
It seems to always amaze me what Allie can get my dad to do.
Look at that big kid on the playground equipment.  :)
Of course any get together has got to have food.
Who's that guy with?
The start of the week was Mike and my 5 year wedding anniversary.
The way we celebrated was going down to the turner county fair for a fun filled day together.
We always seem to get a kick out of the camels.
Funny stuff!
Look at my little farm girl watching the FFA judging.
What every kid wants to do at the fair.
Go on RIDES!
She even got to go on the super BIG slide.
Her face say's it all!
Allie and Dad waiting to ride the faris wheel together.

Fair Fun!

Allie and I ventured out to the local county fair to check out cousin Taylors tractor he restored.
Of course we had to hit up those silly wood cut out things for a photo session.
This was the first year she really enjoyed the animals and they didn't freak her out.
Look she's a pro!
Her grandpa would be so proud.
It just wouldn't be right for us to not check out the local produce.
She thought beings she posed in front of the other tractors she had to here too.
Having a good ole time at the fair!

Reap the reward time

Even with all the fresh produce your still my favorite pick.
New month, but it's still hot so the pool is still a fan favorite here.
I gotta brag cause up until this year I have had not so great success with tomatoes.
This is my year!

Just a few shots of what the garden is doing.
My favorite time cause all the work that is done prior shows now.
The strawberry pots and herb pots are still going strong.
Fridge pickles and speghetti sauce here we come!
