Garage sale season

Growing and getting bigger!

After getting everything in place at home we went out and hit a few garage sales.

We met up with Jean or better known as "Angie" for the day and baby Gabe.  

Allie just couldn't seem to get Jeans name right the whole time.  So after correcting her about a hundred times we finally decided it was easier to just rename Jean.

They were each others support system.

Puzzling day

Some days the pieces just don't go together like you want them to and that was the case here today with more then just the puzzle.  I have to admit I wanted to check out today, but happy to report we made it.  

Allie not feeling good + testing me beyond belief = Very tired mom! 

We were able to come together and work on a puzzle together.

 No matter what I still love everything about being a mom even if at some points it doesn't feel like it.

I love you munchkin.

1/2 way thru the week

Today was a little different then most days, for lunch. Usually we see dad, but not today.

Today his work was having a grill out, so Allie and I ventured over to McDonalds and got a happy meal.

Who would have thought years ago that these plastic bibs would be impossible to find someday.

Finally a place that still has them. :) Can you tell it don't take much to get us excited around here.

Everyone needs pep talks

Allie still isn't feeling very good from the sickness she caught last week. So before dad took off for the day he was giving her a little pep talk to get thru the day or at least half of the day until they meet again at lunch.

Newest addition to the Cook house.

 This past weekend Mike scored a sweet deal on an indoor bike.  Of course it is like a million years old, but we don't care around here.  I'm hoping Mike stays excited about it cause he already has over 40 miles put on it in two days.  Way to go babe! For myself I'm proud of my 8 miles I busted out during nap time the other day.

 Watch out Sioux Falls bike trail here we come. :)

Rain day

Mike is back at it with the garden project.  

Got all the sod lifted up and are about ready to hang the boards.  

After that then to get it filled with dirt.

Allie took a break from being outside to play with her mess free markers.  

Wow! are these things great. 

Mess free for real any moms dream.

Then later in the day we have been meaning to get a package together for a friend of Allies.

Her friend fell and got hurt, so we wanted to put together a get well package for her.

This is all Allie wanted for about three meals in a row after being sick.  I can handle that cause mac and cheese is better then some things to come back up.  Oh no worries about that everything stayed down.  Can you tell I really love this whole sickness thing.

For so many years I have been busy taking care of others yards.  Pretty cool to finally have our own to take care of. 

I love spring!
